four layers of protections.
The MPU5 uses up to two layers of FIPS-compliant, NIAP-approved, and CSfC approved encryption for Confidentiality, Integrity, Authentication, Key Management, & Perfect Forward Secrecy.
The Wave Relay MANET uses RF signature management for LPI/LPD, polarization diversity, and Wave Relay Interference Resilience & Defense (IRD). Wave Relay IRD is a U.S. Department of Defense-assessed library of Electronic attack fingerprints and countermeasures that provides resilience against waveform-specific attacks.
The Wave Relay MANET uses AI enhanced reinforcement learning to adapt, self-heal, and re-route data, ensuring communication persists.
The Wave Relay MANET’s integrated automated PACE capability routes data across any available transport, allowing warfighters to communicate by any means possible (5G, SATCOM, Starlink, etc.). The PT5 enables direct 5G connectivity to the MPU5.
A: The MPU5 uses Wave Relay IRD – a set of EW countermeasures that allows Wave Relay networks to survive in contested and congested environments where adversaries are using both basic and sophisticated jamming attacks.
A: Our security and electronic warfare protections are available at no additional cost to all of our customers. Firmware upgrades (that include updates to the Wave Relay IRD library of countermeasures) are also provided at no additional cost.
