Persistent Systems certified by A Great Place to Work® for third year in a row

Company remains an employer of choice in NYC’s tech market, attracting top talent and listening to employee needs to improve workplace culture

Persistent Systems, LLC (“Persistent”), a leader in mobile ad hoc networking (MANET), is proud to announce that it has been Certified™ by Great Place to Work® for the third consecutive year.

Great Place to Work, a global institute that annually provides one of the most trusted workplace certifications for over 10,000 companies, once again surveyed Persistent’s team members. The results show that 89% of employees agree the company is a great place to work—32 points higher than the national average of 57%.

“This award is a testament to the strong culture and environment we have worked hard to develop over the past three years,” said George Kythreotis, Director of Human Resources at Persistent Systems. “First, it recognizes us as an employer of choice in a highly competitive labor market, where competition for key talent is intense. Second, it highlights our ongoing commitment to improving our corporate culture and employee engagement.”

Over the past three years, the company has enhanced its internal collaboration and communication, reporting a 4% increase in collaboration and a 5% increase in communication.

According to the survey, the number one reason team members enjoy working at Persistent is the people. Other key findings include:

94% say customers would rate the service we deliver as “excellent”;
94% say when you join the company, you are made to feel welcome;
93% agree with the statement “I am treated as a full member here regardless of my position”;
91% agree that management hires people who fit in well here.

“The Great Place to Work® certification consistently shows that our employee development cycles effectively integrate team members with both military and non-military backgrounds into our high-performing culture,” said Kythreotis.

Veterans make up 34% of Persistent’s team members and are a core part of the company’s culture, fostering camaraderie and sharing their experiences to advance the company’s technology.
