The PT5 provides dual simultaneous Wi-Fi 6e access points that allow end users to connect Wi-Fi-enabled devices on their kit to the MPU5 without physical cabling. The PT5 operates in 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands and can connect 10+ devices over a 200 Mbps connection.

The PT5 uses a cutting-edge tri-band Wi-Fi 6e chipset from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. that enables simultaneous access points - 2.4 GHz and 5 or 6 GHz. 2x2 MIMO technology enables reliable connectivity and fast speeds. Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) avoids interference with radar systems.

Persistent designed the PT5 to maximize capacity in your personal area network for HD video, chat, situational awareness, and TAK file transfers of mission packages. The PT5 supports 20 MHz or 40 MHz channel widths, offering real-world speeds of 100 Mbps or 200 Mbps respectively.

MORE THAN JUST ENCRYPTION
The PT5 supports both WPA2 and WPA3 encryption to protect your data. Each time the PT5 boots, it uses a randomized MAC address to protect your team. The default Wi-Fi Access Point name is randomly generated from an onboard dictionary and is not attributable. SSID broadcast can be disabled.
